Phone can be clipped in from the front side to keep from accidentally pressing buttons and allowing you to use it with the thicker extended battery and door. Shipped and arrived quickly.
The holster didn't even come close to fitting my phone. Given the low price, it wasn't worth my time fighting to send it back.
The first one didn't work and they immediately shipped me out a replacement at no charge. Now that is Great Customer Service.
Okay, so the holster is the genuine Motorola brand, which I was happy about. This is good because your screen is protected and you cannot accidentally push buttons. There were no defects and it works great. The only downside is that this holster is made to support your phone so that the keys are facing the holster itself, not so that the keys face outward. It is bad because you cannot use the phone in the holster. The phone is easy to remove from the holster and it never falls out on its own.
I love this holster for my Motorola Q. It clips the phone at the top but on the sides, the phone slides in and out easily - but NEVER comes out on its own - and the phone can slip in with the screen facing either way which is nice if you want to lay it on a desk or night stand with the screen facing up. My company gave me a different 3rd party holster which I did not like as it clipped the phone from above, was really tight (two hands to get the phone in), and scratched the phone every time I put it in and took it out. I bought this one out of pocket for under 5 bucks from an Amazon reseller and love it. My coworkers have other holsters including leather holsters which cost around $50 but I think this one is the best by far and it appears to be an original Motorola item to boot. I highly recommend this holster.
